Kindleberger Park is close enough to let the children walk to and makes a fun activity from early Spring to late Fall.
Taking walking trips around our community teaches children some very practical social skills such as: how and why do you stop at a crosswalk, or why do we walk in the white lines when crossing the street.
Children learn more than we give them credit for when exposed to a number of different practical teaching methods.
Not all teaching methods work for every child which makes activities like this an invaluable reason for our program.
